Dr Ellen Ruane is a mother and family doctor living in the southwest of Ireland. She has always loved reading and is very grateful to her mother for bringing her to the library almost every day as a child. She has lived in the lively city of London, UK, and in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Wherever she has lived, Dr Ellen has always felt at home in books and libraries. She understands that children like to discover the underlying themes for themselves and enjoys sharing her stories of kindness and goodness through humour and the magic of childhood.
